Numbers Are Fun

I had these bears in my classroom and brought them home the
other day.  They have magnets in their noses so they "kiss."  Cal
thought they were pretty funny.

Today, Cal's speech therapist, Allison, had Cal tracing some
numbers.  I noticed dry erase books of letters and numbers
while we were at Costco tonight so I picked up one of each.
He really seemed to enjoy it and does well with both 1's and 2's.

A couple of funny things about Cal lately:

Tonight, we went to McAllister's for dinner.  The kids meals come with Teddy Grahams for dessert.  Before Cal started eating them, he picked up two and had them "talk" to each other.  They each said, "How are you?"  And, then they started hopping up and down, while he said, "Hop, hop, hop!"  Andy asked him what the bear's name was and he said, "Hopper."

Lately, when we suggest something to eat for breakfast, he will make an alternate suggestion, always staring with "How about. . ."  So, we will say, let's have hot dogs for lunch and he will say, "How about peanut butter sandwich?"
