Future Rock Star

Block Tower

Thanksgiving and More

Just checking in Cal in the backseat - we were just hanging out while Dad went to pick up the packets for the Drumstick Dash.
Check out my cool cup with my name on it.
Two legs in one pant leg? Mommy, you are SO silly!
Either Aunt Marcia loves me a lot or really can't stand Mommy - she got me a drum set for Christmas.
Check out this future rocker

So, mommy and daddy thought that they would be real slick and trap me in this room so they could do some cleaning.
What are you guys doing out there?
You guys realize that I can crawl right under this bench, right?
Grams and Papaw sent me a card that sings. I just kept opening and closing it and listening to the song over and over.
This is the best!

Hi, Grams and Papaw - thank you!

Surgery Successful

The surgery went very well. Turns out that between his doctor's appointment and the day of surgery both of his eardrums had ruptured. But, the tubes are now in and everything seemed to go very well. I knew it was supposed to be a short procedure but it really was over in no time at all.
Why are you putting this silly dress on me mommy?
Look at these cool booties! The balloon is from the surgery center - I thought that was a nice touch.

I snuck in and took this one while he was sleeping. Laying on his pillow and clutching Lamby with his other arm So cute!
Seriously, mom? Could this coat get any puffier?
Wild boy on the loose!

Come back here!
Just being cute in my hat

This one I took just because he was being so darn cute. Andy went out to the garage and left the door cracked just the tiniest bit. Cal followed him, opened the door, and was heading out there. Plus, he was looking super handsome in his little vest and hat. : )

13 Months Old

Before we begin, here's a little look back to this time last year - where has the time gone?

Cal was 13 months old yesterday. Some of the pics are from then. Some are from the day before. And a few are from today, from the Berne Thanksgiving celebration. Cal had his first taste of pumpkin pie today. He thoroughly enjoyed it. Loved the Cool Whip, of course! At 13 months, Cal is walking like a champ, getting faster all the time. I swear he's abut to take off running. He's pretty much eating whatever we eat at this point. His faves include yogurt, bananas, and green beans as well as a fairly recent addition to the lineup, crackers or toast with peanut butter. In fact, today he just couldn't wait anymore for dinner today and had several Ritz with peanut butter while he was waiting. Tomorrow, he heads into surgery to get the tubes in his ears. We're all very excited for him to be hearing much better afterwards.
So, so funny
I took this one to show how long his hair is getting these days - oh my!
Close-up of the lovely, flowing locks
Can you believe this balloon is still around from my birthday?
I see you!

I think I'll just take my book over here for a bit.
OK, I guess I'll bring it back over here.
What are we doing, Mommy?
Oh, I see, we're taking a picture together.
Checking out all the cool toys in that catalog
Just hanging out with Mommy - this was my official 13 month birthday.
Having a little milk to wash down all the peanut butter and crackers I chowed down on before Thanksgiving dinner
Just hangin' out with daddy thinking how rockin' my hair is looking right now

Pumpkin pie is delicious! Why don't we have this all year?
That's Cool Whip!
Look what Grandma got me - my own nativity.
Just checkin' it out
Little family pic - what a difference a year makes!
