Chunky Monkey

Calvin went in for his weight check today.  He managed not to tinkle on the scale this time so that's an improvement!  Anyway, our little chunker is now weighing in at 8 pounds 12 ounces.  He will go back for weekly weight checks.  As he is still gaining, Dr. Barghava says we can just proceed as normal.  If we need to in the future, she'll have us start putting Karo syrup in his bottles.  I'd never heard of that!

I am Marching in the Light of God

January 2nd was a big day for our family.  First, Andy and Jesica were officially married in the church.  Then, the whole family received a blessing on the adoption.  And, finally, Cal received his first sacrament, baptism.  Friends and family joined us at the church and then at the house afterward for some refreshments.

What's up with Cal lately?

I've been able to find my fists on a semi-regular basis these days and seem to enjoy chowing down.

Here I am hanging out in my first pair of jeans.  I like to think that my look is an inspiration to fashionable babies everywhere.

Christmas, Take Two

I'm a bit late in updating - on December 27th we headed up to Berne for Christmas with the Foxes.

I was taking a little nap while everyone else had brunch.
