Birthday Wishes and Other Things

Cal continues to attempt walking. He's been "walking" around the coffee table, along the couch, and from one thing to another for a long time. Now, he's taking steps on his own. His record so far is six. He tends to just drop down and crawl probably because it's much faster at this point. If you ask his mom, he's also "talking." Just today, he said "buh, buh, buh" when he was waving and I was telling him "bye, bye." He also said "dah" when I was talking to him about the dog.

Cal spent yesterday afternoon playing with a small cardboard box, inside this larger box, and dragging around the paper bag. All in all, trash is getting repurposed around here.

What is in there and why won't this cabinet open?

Cal Has Returned!

Last Saturday, Little Man headed to Berne. He stayed all the way through Wednesday! He had a lovely time. He even got to go to the Ft. Wayne zoo. From what I understand, good times were had by all. Here, in no particular order (due to my laziness), are the highlights on his trip.
