Tea Time

Two of Cal's favorite toys these days are his singing birthday cake and teapot. Here he is dancing to the tunes, playing at the same time, of course.

Reading

Cal has been doing a lot of "reading" lately. Usually, he babbles while turning the pages, reading it to us. Of course, whenever I point the camera at him, he's silent. Still pretty cute.

Tacos and Ladybugs

Is there anything more fun than riding around in a laundry basket?

Just recently, we're starting to see some climbing from Cal. Here he is perched on one of his toy boxes.

Cal's version of a taco - all the pieces, minus the shell.

Then, mommy puts a little bit of everything on the spoon.

And Cal gobbles it up like he's never seen food before.

Just being Cal and thinking things over

Nightly ritual - reading a book on mommy's lap (or daddy's). Currently, the books he will sit still for (over and over at that) are Five Little Ladybugs, Ten Shiny Snails, and Goodnight, Gorilla. He will bring us the book, then plop down in our lap. He loves to help turn the pages.

See - so engrossed in the book that he can't even take a moment for a photo op.
