"Yes, that's what I meant Lisa, the State Unfair." Marge Simpson

Now, I know this is not from the fair. But, I am lazy and didn't want to make two separate posts. Oh, well. |
| Watch out, he's a bit of a wild driver. |
| New car rug - a big hit with our car man, of course. |
| He thought wearing this was so, so funny. |
Uncle Josh brought this over for Little Man the other night. He fell in love right away. He has since spent a couple of nights in there rather than in his actual bed. He did return to his own bed the last couple nights, though. We shall see what the future holds. |
OK, so here we get to the actual fair pics. Cal Man was very excited to ride the "school bus." We did the park and ride again this year. It worked out well. And, it's still free, unlike parking at the fair itself. A win-win! |
| First stop - corn! |
| Delicious! |
We checked out some of the animals, too. Cal is sometimes hesitant around animals so I wasn't sure how he would react. He seemed very interested and wanted to get up close. |
We made a stop at the Dairy Barn for a chocolate shake. A must in the Year of the Cow, right? There was a band playing and Cal was riveted. |
| Cal finished up the last of the shake for us. |
I don't know if they had this in previous years and we just missed it but they had a calf petting area. Cal really enjoyed it, which was a bit of a surprise to me but I was glad. |
| We tested out a few of the rides. |
| This was a big hit! |
| Super Cal! |
