Pumpkin, Pumpkin, Pumpkin!

Cal loves hanging out in his new little house.  There is almost
not enough room for him with all his birthday balloons.

OK, it's pumpkin carving time.  Break it down!

First, we clean the pumpkin.

I'm telling you, Mom, you are doing it all wrong.

OK, so we cut off the top.  I see.  Then you expect me to
help you scoop out all that yucky gunk.  No thank you!
(Note:  Cal actually did pronounce this activity "yucky"
and went to play in his police car.)

Let's put the lid back on.  Keep those yucky
guts inside.

OK, I guess I'll help a little with the carving. (Note:  His pants
have been lost due to an incident with the "guts.")

Mom, you are the best at carving.  It looks awesome.

See, cut right there.

You know what would make a good reward for all that hard work?
A tasty steakburger,  of course.

Finished product - Mom's on the left and Dad's on the right.
