Carmel Safety Day

Saturday morning, we headed over to St. Vincent in Carmel for Safety Day. It was a really nice event. I'm glad we decided to check it out. There were tons of things to see, free lunch, and other giveaways, too. Most importantly, though, there was a school bus.
Calvin checking out a seat on the bus.
Daddy, these are pretty big steps and I think you're going to need to help me out here.
Cal got a great tattoo (also free). The funniest thing was a few minutes later, he noticed it again and seemed to have forgotten that it was there. He got excited all over again.
Checking himself out in the fun mirror while we waited in line for an ID card.
Headed out to check out the helicopters.

Inside helicopter #2.
Lunch! They had, hotdogs, chips, cookies, and bottled water.
Just checking out the race car.
Can you see me down here?

All in all, it was a really nice day. We had great weather and Cal had a blast checking everything out. Later that night, we headed over the St. Malachy for the Country Fair. Of course, I didn't take any pics. It was another late night, though, and Little Man crashed as soon as we got home.
