9 Months Old - Really??

Well, here we are again, another month along in Cal's life. Nine months have passed since we first met him. He enriches our lives more each day and is just an awesome little guy to have around. As for statistics, he's got a nine month check-up on Friday so nothing official yet, but we weighed him on the home scale and he's 18 lbs. 2 oz. according to that. Almost time for that new car seat!! He's totally mastered crawling and cruises around the house at will. He pulls up all the time and has started inching his way along things like the couch and coffee table. Climbing the stairs is now also in his bag of tricks and we have to put the gate up. He's still eating well and seems to enjoy trying new things.

This was actually last night so not technically a nine month picture but couldn't resist including it. Cal has discovered the joys of the laundry basket.

You know what else is fun, dropping the toy outside the basket and having mom and dad give it back to me.

Here he is pulled up and inching his way along the coffee table.

And, plop, back to the floor.

Quite the daredevil - he'd crawl right off the edge if we'd let him.
